How to arrive

Loc. Sillano, 13 - Greve in Chianti (Firenze)

Casa Ercole is easy to reach from either the North or South and is near many interesting cultural/artistic destinations. Florence is 30km, Siena 35km, and Greve in Chianti and Panzano are both only 5km away.

Our road is the Provincial 118 (over 500 m above sea level) which connects two small towns, Mercatale Val di Pesa and Panzano in Chianti. This gorgeous panoramic road runs along the crest between two valleys. Casa Ercole can be found at the 5.3km point, where the road is lined by cypress trees and marked by a large wooden sign with “Casa Ercole” on it.

From Florence Airport: Take the highway A1 to exit IMPRUNETA.(or from Firenze city follow the sign for SIENA via Galluzzo). Enter four lane highway/superstrada towards SIENA and take the SECOND exit for SAN CASCIANO.
At the gate turn right up to the centre of S.Casciano town and follow the sign towards MERCATALE on the left side.
At MERCATALE take the local road 118 towards PANZANO. Travel on this road for about 8 kilometres maintaining always the direction to PANZANO.
Climbing to the top of the hill you will find Casa Ercole on the right side. The name is engraved on a wooden sign.

FROM PISA Airport: Take the highway/superstrada FI.PI.LI towards Firenze and exit in LA GINESTRA. Take the local road via Cerbaia towards S.CASCIANO. At S.Casciano follow the sign towards MERCATALE. See previous instructions from Mercatale

  take the A1 highway and exit IMPRUNETA

From Florence center: follow directions to SIENA. Take the Superstrada toward Siena and take the second exit at SAN CASCIANO. Once you arrive in San Casciano, follow signs to MERCATALE on the left.  Once you arrive at Mercatale, take the Provincial 118 road in the direction of PANZANO. Follow this road for approximately 8km, Casa Ercole is on the right side.

From Siena: Follow signs to CASTELLINA, then follow signs to PANZANO At Panzano, take the Provincial 118 road towards Mercatale. After about 6km, Casa Ercole is on the left side.

From Greve in Chianti:  Follow signs to the hamlet of MONTEFIORALLE where you will pick up the Provincial 118 road at the 4.5km mark. Turn left towards Panzano and after 0.5 km Casa Ercole will be on the right side
